Fr. George Prosphora - 6.5 inch Bread Seal

Regular price $30.00

What started as a project for my Church School has now become a whole product line.  (I made one for each of our Church School families as a 2020 Christmas Gift.)

This particular seal is very traditional.  In fact, it is based on the seal that was originally created by Fr. George Aquiro out in California.   I do not know Fr. George personally, but some in my parish do....and covet "his" bread seal!

While wood may be the traditional material for bread seals, resin is amazing.  It does not warp over time due to moisture.  It is easy to clean.  It impresses a very clear design.  I really cannot say enough good things about Resin seals.   I cast these in my worskshop where I'm usually toiling away over crowns.  This design is the first, and surely not the last.

These strong and sturdy Polyurethane resin seals have a wooden knob permanently attached.  The knob is a nice easy-to-grasp size and has been sealed with Food-safe Oil (like what you use on butcher block).

You may choose your knob style from the drop-down box.  Please refer to the last picture to see the knob options.

$5.00 from each sale of this 'Fr. George' style prosphora will go back to my Church's  Sunday School.

I will email you a .pdf of the pamphlet write-up I created that contains the recipe, tips and tricks and links to video tutorials (I will probably be creating more videos to share for this product line).  You may print off this pamphlet and share it around as needed!
